#Safer Internet Day - 7th February 2017

Safer Internet Day - 7th February 2017

Our Internet Safety Champions and Mr Small delivered an informative and entertaining whole school assembly about staying safe online.

The children were reminded why is it dangerous to put personal details online with the following sketch:

They likened putting information on the internet to squeezing toothpaste out of a tube –

reminding the children that once information is on the internet it is almost impossible to totally remove it.

Like trying to put the toothpaste back in a tube.

The Internet Safety Champions also told the children how important it is to have a balanced lifestyle.

They said that it is not healthy to spend all your time on electronic devices.

There are many other things you can do to have fun – playing outside with your friends, reading a book etc.

Finally, Mr Small presented the winners of our Internet Safety mascot competition with their prizes.

Congratulations to the winners pictured below with our Internet Safety Champions.
