'Art in Nature Eco Project'
During the Summer term we worked with Year 1 on an 'Art in Nature Eco Project'
Year 4 and children from the Eco Committee (in Key Stage 2) welcomed Richard Evans from Project Nestbox.
They started with a quiz all about birds, then got down to business -
sawing, sanding, nailing, drilling, gluing and painting.
They've even been interviewed
At the end of the project they had all made a birdbox to take home plus 5 which were put up in the school grounds.
A further 3 boxes were taken to Goytre park which will benefit the wider community.
We had a fantastic visit to Raglan Castle on Thursday 11th September 2014.
As well as exploring the castle, we watched and took part in an amazing historical play about Henry Tudor, the Battle of Bosworth and the death of Richard III.
